Once the packaging design is complete — before the product reaches the production line and before any tooling costs are incurred — we build its volume, form and material physics digitally with zero margin for error. A contract proof is not a draft; it is the official approval benchmark the production press is matched against. Before offset, flexo or gravure printing, we finalise calibrated proofing profiles, dot gain and target Pantone/CMYK values with this proof. By fixing the tolerance the press operator works to at the press, we prevent colour disputes and waste across print runs in the millions.

Packaging photography is not an ordinary shoot; it is the craft of conveying the matte of a surface, the clarity of glass and the freshness of the product in a single frame. From on-pack serving shots to e-commerce and catalogue photography, we direct the entire lighting set-up according to retail psychology. Reproduction is not about exporting the artwork to PDF and sending it off once Artrek has completed the packaging design; it is the prepress expertise that ensures the design comes through the production process intact. By calibrating screen rulings, dot gain, trapping allowances and white underprint layers for flexo, offset or gravure lines, we make sure the promise on screen comes to life exactly in print.
